HO HO HO – Santa Poll used in N&O

On Craigslist, a
GarnerRaleigh man conducted an online poll, trying to decide the ancestry of the light-brown inflatable Santa he bought on sale at Lowe’s. By Friday’s final tally, 40 people had voted, and black led the ballot with 30 percent of the vote. Hispanic was a close second; Alaskan native a distant sixth.
I was contacted by Josh Shaffer via facebook and he asked for an interview re: the Santa Race Poll which I politely declined. I did offer him the results of the survey which he used in the article. Great article – thanks to everyone who came here and voted and thanks to Josh.
