There are a lot of cool, technically difficult and impressive sites on the web. This isn’t what I would call the best coded site out there and definitely not the prettiest but all things being equal this one is pretty cool. The basic premise – you can control the Christmas lights from the web page. Not a bad little trick and you can see it all via his webcam. You can even text him and have it pop up on a little LED window. Overall a pretty good concept and he is using it to raise money and awareness for Celiac Disease.
So – go check out the page here and if you are feeling generous give a few dollars to the University of Maryland Center for Celiac Research (CFCR). If you donate $100 you get to control the lights all by yourself for 10 minutes. Here in a week you’ll be a hero if you are doing that.
P.S. – Just a word of caution – don’t mess with the Hulk. Just don’t do it. And if you are at work this site does have sound – just FYI.
