How close is too close?
This is one of the pics from the recent Hilton Head trip. We were biking around Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge and got a tip that a rather large alligator wasn’t too far away. Of course we had to go take a few pictures. I’ve shown this picture to a few people and they asked how close I was to the animal. In hindsight – maybe too close. Video after the jump – I took this picture with a Nikon D3000 and a 55-200mm zoom lens.
