As they say – early and often. Mid-term elections tend to be less exciting but no less important than the elections tied to a Presidential race. Since tomorrow is election day I thought I would post this cool site for anyone that has waited (like I have). To vote the good old fashioned way – at the polls and on the day of the election. The site basically takes your opinions on 12 popular issues, has you rank their importance and gives you the candidates most similar to you based on your “beliefs”.

After the jump I included a screen shot of my matches based on my answers. It wasn’t exactly what I expected.

Throwing out the Libertarians (I know – there are arguments for and against but really – they aren’t going to win very often) – I have Richard Burr (R) and Bob Etheridge (D) as most similar to my “beliefs” per this tool. Perhaps not the way I will vote but very interesting. You can see where you end up and feel free to share by going to Project Vote Smart’s Vote Easy. Have fun and remember – regardless of how you vote it is extremely important that you do vote. While I may agree with a lot of the politicians on the ballot public service is important and a key component to the success of a democracy. Voting win or lose is a privilege.
