UPDATE: Save the Date / May 21, 2011

So in our continuing efforts to be relevant I always like it when we find something before someone else.  I know – it rarely happens and honestly it may have something to do with this blog not being a news source – unless you like YouTube videos or stories about porcelain cats or the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and call that news.

Either way – we brought you the billboard ad campaign “Save the Date” in our We Three Kings of Orient Are… post on December 16th*.  Here is the latest update in the world ends on May 21, 2011 saga by this site’s favorite N&O author Josh Shaffer.

Again to the people supporting this campaign – on behalf of the NOSVC.com team we’d love to get a shot at anything you don’t think you’ll need next May 22nd.  Which based on what I’ve read sounds like everything you own.  So how about this – go ahead and sign everything in your possession to me – including the car with all the snazzy writing on it and date it May 22nd, 2011.  I promise not to try to collect before May 21st and you promise not to ask for it all back on the 23rd.  If you are right I get maybe 15 minutes to try and distribute your crap and win entrance to that great parade to heaven.  If I am right – well – expect renovations to the site with the extra money I get after I pull that sticker off your car and sell it.

It sounds fair to me.
