Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse

I don’t want to alarm anyone but the CDC (yes – that CDC the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention aka the government) is sharing information on what to do in case of a Zombie Apocalypse. As they say in their article – z-o-m-b-i-e a-p-o-c-a-l-y-p-s-e.

I don’t see anywhere in this document that it is a preemptive measure against what the government may or may not think will happen this Saturday (5-21-2011) but it is hard to say. “And the graves were opened; to show that the dead will one day walk the earth.” – somewhere in the Bible or maybe Lord of the Rings. Either way – that says ZOMBIES.

I know you are going to claim this is a simple humorous piece to get me to read about emergency preparedness. Maybe it is – maybe it isn’t. We’ll see who is laughing when you run out of shotgun shells.
