So in the middle of all that is going on here with encouraging people to call, email and generally harass BobG (have you called and/or emailed him today?) I updated nosvc.com and the other sites at Raleigh Web Design and the Governor’s Institute that are running WordPress to version 3.2.
What’s new in 3.2? So far a few things – probably more on the back end (PHP 5.2.4+ and MySQL 5 required) and admin page than you can see on the front end right now. The new themes are using HTML 5 and support for older browsers (most notably IE6) is done. We suggest using Firefox or Chrome anyway so take that for what you will.
As always when there is an upgrade please let me know if you see problems on the site. I would like to address them. I also assume that since this is a “major” upgrade there will be subsequent upgrades to various plugins this site and others are using. Hopefully this means a better, faster, and more useful site for the people that stop by. A more useful site for abstract uselessness? Yes – we’re that awesome.
