Forbes’ Next Big Boom Towns in the U.S.

Despite a national unemployment rate of 9.2% some cities are moving forward showing job growth, family growth, population growth and attractiveness for settlement. On this list Raleigh, NC is #2.

Many of our top performers are not surprising. No. 1 Austin, Texas, and No. 2 Raleigh, N.C., have it all demographically: high rates of immigration and migration of educated workers and healthy increases in population and number of children. They are also economic superstars, with job-creation records among the best in the nation. [SOURCE]

I know there aren’t any points for second place but we are in the Top 10 and while Charlotte, NC is on the list we’re still 6 positions higher than they are at #8.

    Just sayin.
