    Thanksgiving in Charleston, SC

dsc_1204 So as the earlier pictures/posts and numerous tweets indicated we ventured down to Charleston, SC for the Thanksgiving Holiday by way of South of the Border. Honestly I’m not sure why you ever go anywhere without stopping at South of the Border but that is another story and could make a lot of my trips much longer than they should be but YOU NEVER SAUSAGE A PLACE! Yes – I know this makes me a weiner.

So the weather was great, the dinner on Thanksgiving day was great (Thanks Shelley & David), we didn’t get shot shopping at midnight and we made it home in one piece. I don’t think you can ask for much more than that. Well you can but with this recession what can you expect?

Pictures after the jump. There are probably a few more than will leak out over the next few days. If you go to Charleston I highly suggest stopping by the Taj maPiglet (Piggly Wiggly) on Meeting St. It is pretty awesome. I would also suggest walking around and eavesdropping on the carriage tours. Same info but much less expensive and noxious than riding on a carriage.
