The Second Empire Series Spring 2012 website launched today and if you are here – you may as well jump over there and take a look. The race line-up looks great and honestly – I think the site does too. (Just sayin’) Hopefully you’ll get to participate in a run or two.
Welcome to the Spring portion of the Second Empire Grand-Prix Series. Added to the Grand-Prix in 2009, it boasts some of the Triangle’s most exciting and high-profile races. With a smorgasbord of 5Ks, 10Ks, and half-marathons, this racing series guarantees a challenge for runners of all levels, ages, and abilities.
Taking part in the Series is easy. Simply run in any or all of the 10 races. If you’re interested in qualifying for Series prizes, run in at least 6 of the 10 Grand-Prix races. Be sure to register as a competitive runner so you will receive points based on your finishing place.
