I don’t want to alarm anyone but the CDC (yes – that CDC the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention aka the government) is sharing information on what to do in case of a Zombie Apocalypse. As they say in their article – z-o-m-b-i-e a-p-o-c-a-l-y-p-s-e.

I don’t see anywhere in this document that it is a preemptive measure against what the government may or may not think will happen this Saturday (5-21-2011) but it is hard to say. And the graves were opened; to show that the dead will one day walk the earth.” – somewhere in the Bible or maybe Lord of the Rings. Either way – that says ZOMBIES.

I know you are going to claim this is a simple humorous piece to get me to read about emergency preparedness. Maybe it is – maybe it isn’t. We’ll see who is laughing when you run out of shotgun shells.

Sokoblovsky Farms the breeder of Petite Lap Giraffes now has a website.  If the little giraffe looks familiar you might have seen him on a recent commercial.

If you have children, petite lap giraffes no problem. If child is loud, the giraffe will be shy, but does not bite. PLG’s are very clean. With training they will go in box like cats. Allergies never a problem.

Size: adult is 76 centimeters, baby is 15 centimeters tall. Weight is 4.5kg unless the giraffe is fat cow then 5.44kg

These look like a lot of fun. Wonder how Princess would do with one? If you hear of a local breeder let me know.

So the rumor is this was shown last night on Comedy Central at 3am. Can’t validate that at all but thought it was worth sharing.

This video was posted by a friend on Facebook and all the description said was “National anthem sung by timbers army” – given the few clues we have here it is safe to assume this is the Home Opener of the Portland Timbers Football Club Soccer Team.

I’ve always thought it was cool when I would see Canadian hockey teams sing their national anthem. This is like that only 1000 times better because it’s the American National Anthem.  ‘God bless America. And no place else.’

Anyway – enjoy – ’cause it’s Friday; you ain’t got no job… and you ain’t got shit to do.’

I don’t typically cover celebrities because that’s not my job, but they don’t usually wear shit made out of LEGO either. So here’s Fergie looking suspiciously like she colored her eyes with Magic Marker at Nickelodeon’s 24th Annual Kids’ Choice (Pokémon, I Choose You!) Awards.

Ran across this on Geekologie and thought it was worth sharing here.  Yes – I still think Fergie’s face resembles a catcher’s mitt.  That being said it appears her taste in bricks is improving.
