We are auctioning off the right to name our St. Patrick’s Day Parade Float theme on eBay.  Interested?  You should be.  The purchase of this auction lets you determine the theme and the overall level of insanity that will occur in next year’s parade.  Will it be another round at Cheers?  A return to Gilligan’s Island or something even more bizarre like the balloon float and/or the oddly crafted paper mache music note?  We don’t know and likely won’t until the auction ends.

Latitude is a location-aware mobile app developed by Google. I know – those of you with smart phones are saying this has been around forever or at least this past February. You’re right – probably old news at best. I am playing with it now and looking for anyone that wants to play along as well. If you are interested in playing around with Latitude you’ll need either a Google Account with iGoogle or a supported phone. I am using iGoogle because my phone isn’t smart. Much beyond txting and it reaches “epic fail” status pretty quickly.

Google Latitude

Super sleuth BobG is in HOT PURSUIT of our friend and loved one Black Randy.  Tonight he explored the last known whereabouts of Randy and has sent us the photographs to try and pull together more of the details.  We hope everyone will pay very close attention and if they recall anything please call 341-9321 and leave us a message.  We need your help – we feel like we are close but there is no way to know for sure.

We just received these two tips on Black Randy – we need all the help we can get on bringing him home. Please listen to these tips and keep your eyes open for a Black Randy spotting. Seems like there is a high level of activity around Hargett and Wilmington St. We may need to investigate. Listen to the calls: Caller #1 and Caller #2.

These are a couple of the early calls we got in to the Black Randy Tip Line 919-341-9321. We’re working to decipher exactly what they mean. If you understand what they are talking about please let us know. We’re working hard to bring Randy home. There is definitely some concern about the second call – was Black Randy in fact cat-napped???
