So I’ve read enough about gOS (a Linux Ubuntu variant) to make me wait the three hours it takes to download the DVD to install it. Yes - I am still a Fedora fan and use it a lot and no this doesn’t mean I am planning on changing the machine I use. I am still in search of the lightweight OS that I can install on older machines that is extremely user friendly. Fedora is a little intimidating for non-geeks so I am interested to see what gOs has to offer. I’ll install it tonight and test it and write a short comparative analysis of it vs. Fedora. I’ll also try to get Cara to use it and see how she likes it for the non-technical opinion. More to come…
