IMG_2099.JPG A couple of weeks ago the Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon [10179] dropped in price on the Lego.com website and I decided to go for it. Who wouldn’t want the challenge of over 5,000 pieces and 30 pounds of construction? I didn’t realize at the time exactly what I was getting into but to put it in perspective the Imperial Star Destroyer [6211] I bought on Black Friday had 1,367 pieces. So roughly 4 of those to be assembled into one ship. After the jump I have all the pictures up to this point.  More to come and yes that is Chewbacca inspecting my work.

This week’s Internet Oddity is from Wired Magazine and has the best remakes on the web of one of the best movies ever made. I’ve included my personal favorite done in Lego after the jump.

To that end I am going to start a little feature here “BobG’s Internet Oddity of the Week.” This week we have a mix-up of two great movies that cross audio and video nicely. No spoilers besides the picture to the left – hit the jump and enjoy.
